Inspired by the series and its theme song, Helmer recorded his own interpretation as a tribute to a program he admired for its spirit of adventure, travel, and exploration.

On Nov. 29, 2016, Helmer performed 12 solo-acoustic concerts across California and Arizona, establishing the Guinness World Records title as part of his nationwide Never Give Up Tour. Each performance supported charitable organizations serving communities throughout the two states.

PHOENIX, Dec. 3, 2014 — American singer-songwriter Scott Helmer's Support YOUR Cause Tour 2014–2015 helps participating charities and historic theatres raise more than $175,000 during November through a series of fundraising concerts across the United States.
Among the month's performances is a Nov. 15 benefit in Minneapolis for Can Do Canines, followed by a Nov. 21 fundraiser at the Capitol Theater in Burlington, Iowa, and a Nov. 22 performance benefiting Second Harvest Community Food Bank at Civic Arena in St. Joseph, Missouri.
"Scott's performance was awesome," said Sharon Griff of Can Do Canines. "Our group's president, Al Peters, was so grateful and had a fantastic time."
"Scott gave 110% to our audience and we can't wait to have him back," said Capitol Theater Manager Colleen Smith.
"Scott put on a great show and we loved being a part of his tour," said St. Joseph Mayor Bill Falkner.
The Support YOUR Cause Tour 2014–2015 continues with fundraising concerts for charities, nonprofits and historic theatres across the country. Through the tour, Helmer donates his performances to help participating organizations raise funds and awareness for their missions.

ASPEN, Colo., July 10, 2013 — American singer-songwriter Scott Helmer opened for Big Country at Belly Up Aspen during the band's North American tour.
The performance took place while Big Country toured with Mike Peters of The Alarm on lead vocals, joined by original members Bruce Watson and Mark Brzezicki and bassist Derek Forbes. The tour honored the legacy of original frontman Stuart Adamson while bringing the band's music to audiences across North America.
Helmer's appearance was part of his nationwide Support YOUR Cause Tour, which combined live solo-acoustic performances with fundraising and community outreach throughout the United States.
Opening for Big Country marked another milestone in Helmer's touring career as he continued sharing the stage with nationally and internationally recognized artists while performing his original music for audiences across the country.

TEMPE, Ariz., May 28, 2013 — American singer-songwriter Scott Helmer today released Wake Me When It's Over, his debut EP and the first full recording project from his collaboration with producer Henry Hirsch.
Written by Scott Helmer and Rich Helmer and recorded at Waterfront Studios in Hudson, New York, the six-song EP follows the release of the singles "Time To Say Goodbye," "Feel," and "Wake Me When It's Over."
Produced and engineered by Henry Hirsch, the project features Scott Helmer on lead and background vocals and drums, Rich Helmer on guitars, and Henry Hirsch on bass and B3. The EP was mixed by Henry Hirsch and Chris Theis, with assistant engineer Bram Tobey, and mastered by Chris Theis.
Recorded inside the historic Waterfront Studios, Wake Me When It's Over marks the debut release from the recording collaboration between Scott Helmer, Rich Helmer, and Henry Hirsch.
