BIOGRAPHY

Scott Helmer is an Arizona-based singer-songwriter, touring musician, and Guinness World Records holder whose music blends rock and pop with memorable melodies, powerful vocals, and honest storytelling.

Since relaunching his music career in 2012, Helmer has performed more than 1,000 concerts across the United States, building a catalog of songs rooted in real-life experiences. His songs explore love, loss, resilience, hope, and second chances, connecting with audiences through authenticity rather than perfection.

Working with multi-platinum producer Henry Hirsch, Helmer launched a new chapter with the release of Wake Me When It's Over, establishing a sound that continues to define his music today.

Whether performing solo-acoustic or with a full band, Helmer's focus remains the same: letting the songs speak for themselves.

Behind the music is a story of rebuilding.

In 2008, after the collapse of his business and personal life, Helmer found himself at a point where he questioned whether life was worth continuing. Choosing instead to rebuild, he returned to songwriting with a renewed sense of purpose. That decision ultimately led to a new recording career, years of national touring, and a body of work centered on perseverance, personal growth, and the belief that no setback has to be the final chapter.

In 2016, Helmer earned the Guinness World Records title for Most Live Music Performances in 24 Hours (multiple cities) after headlining 12 charity concerts across California and Arizona in a single day as part of his Never Give Up Tour.

Throughout his career, Helmer has shared the stage with Heart, 3 Doors Down, Eddie Money, Jeff Bridges, Eric Burdon & The Animals, and more. His performances have also helped raise more than $3 million for charities and nonprofit organizations supporting mental health, veterans, children's programs, adaptive sports, historic theaters, animal welfare, and other community causes.

Helmer continues to write, record, and perform while documenting the stories behind the songs through his growing News archive, inviting listeners to experience the journey that shaped them.
