Scott Helmer Re-Routes Tour to Support Colorado Wildfire Relief

Singer-Songwriter Adds Colorado Performances to Encourage Donations Following Devastating Wildfires Across the State

PHOENIX, June 30, 2012 — American singer-songwriter Scott Helmer is re-routing his Support YOUR Cause Tour 2012–2013 to Colorado following a series of devastating wildfires that have displaced thousands of residents across the state.

With the High Park Fire, Waldo Canyon Fire and several other wildfires continuing to burn, Helmer is adding performances throughout Colorado to encourage charitable giving and support organizations providing relief to affected families.

"My tour is all about helping the groups that provide real assistance to people when they need it most," said Helmer. "Colorado needs to be at the top of the list right now."

The Colorado leg of the tour begins July 4 with a performance at the Derailed Saloon in Durango before continuing with additional appearances throughout the region. Admission to the performances is free to encourage donations supporting wildfire relief efforts.

Following the Colorado dates, the Support YOUR Cause Tour continues across the Southwest and additional stops throughout the United States, combining live music with community outreach and charitable giving.
