TEMPE, Ariz., Oct. 14, 2025 — American singer-songwriter Scott Helmer today released the official live acoustic video for "Long Way Round (Roadside Sessions – Monument Valley)." Filmed on location in Monument Valley, Utah, the performance captures Helmer performing the song against one of the American Southwest's most iconic landscapes.
Part of Helmer's Roadside Sessions series, the video pairs a solo-acoustic performance with the dramatic sandstone buttes and expansive desert scenery of Monument Valley. Stripped of studio production, the performance places the focus on the song, the landscape, and the journey they evoke together.
During filming, a group of tourists from Germany stopped to watch the performance. Their impromptu visit became the closing scene of the video, as they stayed to meet Helmer and pose for a photo before continuing their journey through Monument Valley.
