New Single Reflects on Love, Loss and How Things Could Have Been
TEMPE, Ariz., December 15, 2024 — American singer-songwriter and touring musician Scott Helmer today released "Go Go Go," a new single available for purchase directly at his website.
Written by Scott Helmer, "Go Go Go" was inspired by a woman he loved deeply. As Helmer pursued a full-time career touring and performing across the country, the two struggled to reconcile their lives despite their connection. Over time, they drifted apart, not because the love had disappeared, but because they could never seem to make their lives fit together.
After learning of her unexpected passing, Helmer wrote the song as a reflection on love, regret and the hope that one simple request — "come home" — might have changed everything.
The recording features Scott Helmer on lead vocals, background vocals, acoustic guitar, drums, and percussion, with Rich Helmer performing electric guitar and bass.
