Since 2012, Helmer has performed more than 1,000 solo-acoustic shows across the country—including over 200 benefit concerts that have helped raise more than $3 million to support causes such as suicide prevention, first responders, veterans, historic preservation, pet and animal rescues, and equine-assisted services.

This work is deeply personal. It was born from a mistake and a collapse that cost him everything—his business, his family, and his way forward. Helmer’s comeback story, and a promise he made during his lowest moment, now fuel a purpose-driven career focused on using music to uplift others. Known for his high-energy solo performances, heartfelt storytelling, and deep connection to the causes he supports, he brings people together through music and meaning.
